It is usually the Camtasia users who are having this kind of issue. Camtasia video outputs on .avi format cannot run with Windows Media Player because of the missing tscc codec (TechSmitch Screen Capture Codec). However you can find this codec easily.

It is an .exe file and installs in seconds. After the installation is complete you should be able to see the video display.
