To be honest, i had a hard time figuring this out and took me almost the whole work shift to figure out this one. Forum websites really help, and its from there where i get the advice. Blogging help to spread the solution so here you go.
1. First you need create a Module Menu. This module menu should be a generic one, such that it is only being published when you open a particular page.
2. Now, lets say, your page is a thank you page, and you want it to appear as www.example.com/thankyou. Then all you need to do is put thankyou under the alias.
3. Now you have a menu working and it should be set to published. This should solve your problem =)
